Our Journey

2008

Glory Forge Quixal Architecture founded in Toronto with a focus on sustainable design principles.

2012

Expanded into heritage restoration, completing our first major historic building renovation in downtown Toronto.

2016

Recognized with the Canadian Green Building Award for innovative sustainable urban development projects.

2019

Opened our dedicated Urban Planning & Development division, serving communities across Ontario.

Elena Ramirez, M.Arch, LEED AP

Principal Architect & Co-Founder

With over 20 years of experience in sustainable architecture, Elena brings a passionate commitment to environmental design and urban revitalization. A graduate of the University of Toronto's John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, she has led award-winning projects across North America. Elena's expertise in green building strategies and her dedication to creating carbon-neutral structures have positioned Glory Forge Quixal at the forefront of sustainable design. She serves on the board of the Canada Green Building Council and regularly lectures on climate-responsive architecture.

Michael Chen, M.Arch, OAA

Principal Architect & Co-Founder

Michael's architectural philosophy centers on the belief that new construction should engage in dialogue with existing urban fabric. Specializing in heritage restoration and adaptive reuse, he has transformed dozens of historic buildings into vibrant, functional spaces while preserving their cultural significance. A member of the Ontario Association of Architects and Heritage Toronto, Michael combines traditional craftsmanship with modern building science. His meticulous attention to detail and deep respect for architectural history have earned him recognition as one of Canada's leading heritage conservation architects.
